SiteCred is operated by SROI Property Group Pty Ltd (ABN 58 657 771 974) ("SiteCred", "we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what personal information we collect through the SiteCred app and website, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
By using SiteCred, you agree to the collection and use of information in line with this policy.
When you create an account, we collect: your name, email address, and phone number. For builders and contractors, we also collect business name, ABN, licence number and details, trade category, and business location. For clients, we also collect general location (e.g. suburb/postcode) for search purposes. When you use the app, we collect: reviews, ratings, and any written comments you submit; replies businesses post to reviews; reports submitted about a review or listing; basic usage information (e.g. which screens you use) to help us improve the app. We do not collect payment card details, since SiteCred does not process payments. We also do not collect precise GPS location, only the general location you provide.
We use your information to: verify builder and contractor ABN/licence details before listing them; let clients search for and review builders and contractors; send account verification codes (SMS and email) and important account notifications; respond to support requests; investigate reported reviews or disputes under our Right of Reply process; improve and maintain the app.
We share information with: service providers who help us run SiteCred, including our SMS provider (for verification codes), email provider (for account and notification emails), and hosting/infrastructure providers. These providers only receive what they need to perform their function and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes. Other users, where relevant. For example, your business profile, reviews you've written, and public replies are visible to other SiteCred users as part of the app's core purpose. Government or regulatory bodies, where required by law, for example to verify ABN or licence status. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, including secure storage and restricted access to personal data. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
You can: request access to the personal information we hold about you; ask us to correct inaccurate information; ask us to delete your account and associated data, subject to any legal or record-keeping obligations we may have (for example, retaining review records relevant to an active dispute). SiteCred's core purpose is to let clients leave honest reviews of builders and contractors, and to let businesses reply publicly. Reviews, ratings, and replies you submit may remain visible on SiteCred even if you later delete your account, unless removal is required under our reporting/dispute process or by law.
SiteCred is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 18.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify users in the app.
